Curtain up: Your guide to all the high school musicals in the Pittsburgh region this spring

Spring is high school musical season, and the Pittsburgh region has an incredible lineup of shows coming up.

For families with younger children, high school plays and musicals can be a great way to introduce kids to the fun of theater-going. Many of the high schools in the Pittsburgh area produce shows filled with impressive performances and elaborate sets and costumes.

And yet tickets cost far less than shows you might find Downtown in the Cultural District, making these shows very affordable. So if little ones only make it through the first act, it will still have been worth the trip.
