2nd Annual Celebrity Hoops for Hospice
October 9 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 pm
$10 – $20Charity basketball game will be played by former Pittsburgh Penguins, Pirates, Steelers, Pittsburgh Passion and other local Pittsburgh celebrities and is open to the public. Celebrities slated to play are Steve Blass, Tyler Kennedy, Luis Lipps, Mike Logan, Michael McKenry, Darren Morningstar, Neil Walter and Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt from the 2023 season of Survivor. All proceeds will benefit our children’s bereavement programs. Children are often referred to as the “forgotten grievers” because they tend to be overlooked when adults are managing other plans. At Family Hospice, we have programs, services, and resources to help families navigate loss and provide children with the mental, physical, and emotional support they need. Attendees can register to participate in our halftime contests with prizes to be awarded. There will be raffle baskets, a 50/50 and an opportunity following the game to meet and receive autographs from the players.
