Join the August Wilson African American Center and Hazelwood Local for this FREE carnival community day bringing together science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) in a fun and interactive environment for all ages.
Featuring:
Circus performances by Iron City Arts
Carnival games and rides, face painting, and more!
Hands-on STEAM themed games, activities, and vendors where you can build robots, visit a mobile video game truck, create art, and conduct fun science experiments.
Meet local scientists, engineers, artists, and educators who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise.

**Pre-Event Activity: Beer Science at Hazel Grove Brewing: 4609 Irvine St. Pittsburgh 15207
Join Hazel Grove Brewing for a behind the scenes look at the science and art of beer brewing while touring their brew room. Participants will enjoy samples of HGB’s popular beers and take home a souvenir glass cup.
This event is for those 21+ and has limited capacity.
This event is co-presented by: UPMC/UPMC Health Plan and Citizens, with additional support provided by PPG, Howmet Aerospace, Duquesne Light Company, and RAD.
