Maker Monday: 3-D Snow Paint
This puffy snow paint adds a cute, 3-D effect to your artwork.
In warmer weather, we can see this technique used to a great finish with puffy clouds, poodles and sheep, too!
Supplies:
Construction paper
Shaving cream
School glue
Paintbrush
Draw and color a winter scene. Maybe a picture of your backyard, your favorite park or a downtown cityscape.
In a bowl or cup — we prefer a disposable cup for easy cleanup! — mix equal parts shaving cream and glue. Stir well to make the puffy 3-D snow paint.
Dip your brush into the puffy paint and blob onto your drawing.
Allow at least 1 hour for your masterpiece to dry. The paint will get a rubbery feel once dry and will maintain the 3-D effect of the puffy paint.
