As the baseball season draws to a close and UNESCO celebrates World Teachers’ Day, we wanted to give special thanks to our region’s remarkable All-Star Teachers.
Each year, Pittsburgh Pirates, Pirates Charities, PNC and The Grable Foundation have worked with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, Intermediate Unit 1 and our team at Kidsburgh to recognize outstanding teachers in our region. During this uniquely challenging time in education, we’re so glad to give thanks for all these teachers do each day to help our region’s children learn and thrive.
All-Star Teachers are given this award for making a significant difference in the lives of students across the region by providing an inclusive learning environment, offering engaging instruction and curriculum, encouraging lifelong learning, and inspiring a passion for education that goes beyond the classroom and into the future.
