Chasing Childhood

Sewickley Unplugged’s Spring Kickoff event will take place at The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center on Sunday, April 13, from 1-3:30 p.m. It will include a screening of the documentary “Chasing Childhood” from 1-2:30 p.m. and a local youth organizations fair from 2:30-3:30 p.m. “Chasing Childhood” is an 80-minute documentary in which psychologists, activists and leaders of the “free play” movement advocate for allowing kids to have less curated childhoods. The accompanying fair will give parents an opportunity to learn about regular services and activities for kids in the Sewickley area and what these organizations have planned this summer.
