Workshop #4:
Saturday, October 5, 1-3 pm, Rangolis with Rangoli
Rangoli is a traditional South Asian art form consisting of colorful geometric designs made using powder sprinkled on the ground, typically during Hindu festivals. Just like Rangoli Pittsburgh, rangolis are colorful, collaborative, and celebratory, and we invite attendees to come learn about this art form and create their own rangoli designs! In this workshop, we will help attendees create their own small rangoli designs that they can take home with them.
Assemble, 4824 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15224
Register for free here.
What are CRAFTERNOONS?
‘Saturday Crafternoons at Assemble PGH are free weekly drop-in programs for youth ages 5 to 11. We are excited to have Crafternoons in-person from 1-3 pm at Assemble throughout the year! Each week features a new guest expert artist, maker, or technologist leading us through a hands-on project. It is a great way to learn about STEAM topics while making new friends. Snacks are also provided!  Register for free here.
