My Favorite Pittsburgh Thing To Do With Kids: Ya Jagoff! co-host Rachael Rennebeck
Rachael Rennebeck consulted with her kids while considering her options for her favorite Pittsburgh family activity.
Roman, 15, Domenic, 12, and Adeline, 10, all had their own ideas.
“One would say our Sandcastle visits, another would say the water steps near PNC Park, and the other would claim the ice rink at PPG Place,” says Rachael, who lives in Ross with hubby Will.
“Collectively, it is marching in the Labor Day Parade because the kids listen to and learn from those who help build and better our city,” she says. “They march alongside those dedicated to hard work.”
As co-host of Ya Jagoff! Podcast and partner of Ya Jagoff! Media with John Chamberlain, Rachael makes podcast recordings and appearances at fundraisers and performances around the city. She and John interview local celebrities, athletes and unsung heroes who work behind the scenes.
“I tell the stories of Pittsburgh people,” Rachael says, “from JuJu Smith-Schuster to the guy who maintains the ice at PPG Paints Arena.”
The weekly podcast celebrates all things Pittsburgh, including more ways to explore the city with her family.
