Millions of families listen to podcasts together. Maybe you’ve listened to a podcast with your own kids while driving in the car or making dinner. But have you ever wondered what it would be like if your family started your own podcast?

On the latest episode of the Kidsburgh Podcast, we find out what that experience is really like from our inspiring guest, Kacie Clousing, founder of Trivia for Kids.

Clousing, a mom of three kids, didn’t set out to become a media creator. But her family loved listening to podcasts together, and the one they’ve created has now taken them on the road for a live show and to a Pittsburgh-area school for a visit.

Dreaming up trivia topics and planning each episode has “turned out to be really great,” she says, “because now we have time that we spend together for a purpose every week.”

Hear all about their family’s experience (and get their advice for other families who’d like to try podcasting), plus get the scoop on Oakland’s beautiful Nationality Rooms, located inside the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh campus. And hear the Tea with Teens youth reporters interview local kids about the businesses they’d love to start, all on episode 10 of the Kidsburgh Podcast’s second season.
