You’ve probably experienced it: The zoned-out feeling from endless scrolling that leaves you without energy or focus, and the worry that your kids are spending way too much of their own time lost in the world of endless TikTok videos and Instagram posts.

More and more research is coming out showing the harms of too much time spent using digital technology. Jess Elefante knows that from personal experience. When she developed signs of digital dementia, she decided it was time to change her relationship with screens and media.

Elefante has written about her experiences in her book, “Raising Hell, Living Well,” and she is co-chair for MAMA (Mothers Against Media Addiction). Don’t miss our podcast conversation with Jess, where she shares her insight into how we can all have healthier relationships with media and technology.

S2 Ep8: Remake Learning Days, Jess Elefante on digital brain fog, and teens talk about their own digital device usage

This week on the Kidsburgh podcast, join hosts Melissa Rayworth, Kristine Sorensen and Yu-Ling Cheng as they talk with Jess Elefante, chapter leader of Mothers Against Media Addiction, about how to families can fight the “digital dementia” and disconnection that comes from screen use, especially social media.
