UPMC Children’s Hospital rated No. 8 nationally by U.S. News & World Report

For the first time since 2017, U.S. News & World Report has ranked UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh among the country’s top 10 pediatric hospitals.
Children’s was named America’s eighth-best pediatric hospital overall.
In the breakdown of specialty care, Children’s ranked third for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery.
The hospital also ranked sixth for diabetes/endocrinology and pulmonology, seventh best in the nation for gastroenterology and gastroenterology surgery and tied for 10th best in children’s urology care.
When Children’s last made the top 10 list in 2017, the hospital ranked ninth overall.
